The Perodua Myvi
I had the opportunity to drive a Perodua Myvi just recently. Its the first time I’ve ever driven any Malaysian-manufactureed car and I must say I’m impressed.

With a 1300cc engine, I wasn’t expecting too much from it other than to get me from point A to Point B. But it surprised me with the smooth ride it gave me. Most of all, its small and compact so its easy to park it!
I’ve got two complaints though. The first is the gear stick - which is too low. I have to always bend down to reach it. Perodua must have used a chimpanzee as a test driver.
The other is the horn. When I was honking someone, it gave the most pathetic and gay sounding honk I’ve ever heard. Its soft and squeeky, almost like a suppressed fart which u failed to suppress - but really tried to!
For a honk-happy driver like me, that is completely unacceptable! I require a car that will give out a honk sounding like Godzilla. It makes me happy to make other drivers around me shit in their pants.
Mua haha…..

I don’t like the side mirrors, too high. Not practical to use. The power of it is quite weak. Ok, 1300cc, should have expect that.

Heh I wasn’t expecting anything at all when I drove it! I guess that’s why I was surprised.
