Only RM$500 Million for Sarawak?
It has been revealed by The Scribe that under the 9th Malaysia Plan, our Prime Minister has allocated a whopping RM$46.6 billion to ministries under his control. That’s more than double what the previous PM allocated under the previous 5-year plan.
Of the RM$46.6 billion, the PM will split the money among the different states. For example the Federal Teritory (Kuala Lumpur) will get RM$10.4 billion, Penang - RM$1.3 billion and Sabah RM$2.5 billion.
But Sarawak is only getting a measly RM$500 million.
Granted - that UMNO hasn’t yet planted its flag in this part of the country. But the ruling party of Sarawak is still linked to them, just as Penang’s is.
Also the population of Sarawak is quite small in comparison to the others - despite being the largest state in Malaysia.
What annoys me I guess is that Sarawak is possibly the most resource-rich state in Malaysia (it has the largest petroluem reserves in Malaysia), but we are still quite under-developed.
Think about - the way i see it, Petronas built the Twin-Dildos Towers.
Petronas is a governtment-owned oil company. I imagine most of their oil comes from Sarawak.
So whose money went into paying for the construction of the Twin-Towers?
Surely Sarawak deserves more than that measly figure doesn’t it?

u know how our country works. Half the time it doesn’t make any sense. mabbe they did the figures by giving it to their grandchildren to play with and see what numbers would come up.
Or mabbe they just plain don’t like our Sarawak government and think that any money they give them will go straight into some people’s pockets.
Hypothetical situation of course
