About

 Let's Goyang!

My name is Ronald. I reside in Kuching - a smallish city in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia. I also lived, studied, than worked in New Zealand for 9 years before coming back home. I worked as a waiter and bartender during my University years before becoming involved in the construction industry after I graduated. I’ve also learned abit of Flair Bartending, but never really practiced it or competed.

I like to think that the sun shines out of my arse. But that is open for debate of course… not that it matters, cause I’m right anyway.

I like cocktails. And that doesn’t mean I’m gay! Making cocktails (sometimes called Mixology) is just my favourite creative-pastime. I like other stuff too. Hence this blog will have a heavy focus on alcohol-related goodness as well as other stuff that I may randomly feel like writing.

The word ‘Goyang’ is a Malay word literally meaning ‘Shake’. So the title can be translated to ‘Let’s Shake!’. In the context of this blog, it can be refered to shaking a cocktail shaker, dancing (shaking your bon-bon) or ‘Goyang Kaki’ - which is a Malay slang for relaxing or chilling. Mind you it has no reference to the South Korean city of Goyang. So if you’re looking for young and pretty Korean soap stars… you’re in the wrong place my friend.

NOW LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU!!  With mindless dribble and stuff that no one cares about.
